For those with time to explore The Great Ocean Road region.

We depart Melbourne early and cross the Westgate Bridge and drive towards the regional town of Geelong. From here we head for our first stop at the world famous Bells Beach which hosts the world surf championships each year. View the surfers out in the surf and marvel at the stunning coastline. An optional Kangaroo Tour can be included where you see free range kangaroos grazing naturally.

We then continue on to the seaside towns of Anglesea, Airey’s Inlet where we view the Lighthouse and on to Lorne for lunch. Our next stop is to see some Australian birdlife and koalas high in the trees at Kennett River.

The next day we drive into the ancient forests of the Otway Ranges, taking a walk through the giant Eucalyptus at Maits Rest. We then arrive at the tour highlight, The 12 Apostles where you’ll see the stunning landscapes and formations. Enjoy the views or take a helicopter flight (own expense) and see the majestic views from the air. Visit Loch Ard Gorge and Gibson’s Steps,view the 12 Apostles . Our return to Melbourne is inland through the beautiful farmlands of the Western district of Victoria.

What to expect?

We'll pick you up from your Melbourne hotel on your tour to the Great Ocean Road and the 12 Apostles. We'll stop at some famous surf beaches for photos and see the Lighthouse at Airey's Inlet. We'll look for some koalas and feed the local birds. There will be lots of photo opportunities and great towns to stop for coffee and lunch.

Once we arrive at the famous 12 Apostles, you'll be amazed by the stunning views of the coast. You can take a helicopter flight over the Apostles or simply take in the beautiful coastal panorama. We try to avoid the crowds and are able to see sights the big buses miss. On our return, we travel inland to Colac for a short stop before returning you to your hotel.
